Alex Reid (fighter)

Alexander Aristides Alex Reid is an English mixed martial artist, kickboxer, and actor. He has fought for Cage Rage, BAMMA, UCMMA and Bellator. Throughout his MMA career he has fought some of the best known fighters, especially from the earlier days of the UFC, such as former welterweight champion Dave Menne and UFCmiddleweight finalist Tony Fryklund, he has also faced Murilo Rua, Tom Watson, Xavier FoupaPokam, Chris Wotton, Mark Weir, and Jorge Rivera.

Reid was born in Aldershot, Hampshire, the son of Bob and Carol Reid. He is the youngest of six siblings. He is of Scottish descent on his fathers side.
